We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This statement provides you with information, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG), about what data we process, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.

2. Access Data & Server Log Files
When you visit this website, technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of access, pages viewed) is automatically stored in server log files. This is done solely to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention period: generally a few days.
3. Contact & Inquiries
When you contact us via forms, email, or phone (e.g., group and event inquiries), we process your information solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry and addressing any follow-up questions (typically for up to six months), provided there are no legal retention requirements. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR). Your information will not be disclosed to unaffiliated third parties.
4. Reservation System (MEWS)
We use MEWS Systems for online bookings and availability checks. The booking information you enter is transmitted directly to MEWS and processed there. Legal basis: Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For more information, please see MEWS’s Privacy Policy (mews.com).
5. Payment Processing (Stripe / MEWS Payments)
We use MEWS Payments in conjunction with the payment service provider Stripe to process payments for bookings. You enter your payment information (e.g., credit card details) directly with the payment service provider; this information is transmitted using encryption (SSL/TLS) and processed in accordance with the PCI-DSS security standard. 6. Customer Communication via WhatsApp (Chatlyn)
If you contact us via WhatsApp or our chat feature, we process your message and the data transmitted in the process (e.g., phone number, name) solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry. We use the chatlyn service to process your inquiry; the WhatsApp service itself is operated by Meta. Legal basis: Consent or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) of the GDPR). 7. Newsletter (Brevo)
We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) to send our newsletter. When you sign up, we process your email address using the double opt-in procedure. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Further information: Brevo’s Privacy Policy (brevo.com).
8. Web Push Notifications (WonderPush)
If you expressly consent, you can subscribe to push notifications. We use WonderPush for this purpose; a pseudonymous push token is stored in your browser. 9. Multilingualism (Weglot)
We use Weglot to translate the website. This allows page content to be sent to Weglot for translation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a multilingual website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For more information, see Weglot’s Privacy Policy (weglot.com).
10. Google Maps
On our contact page, we embed map data from Google Maps (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google; this may involve a transfer to servers in the U.S., which is safeguarded under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 11. Cookies & Consent
This website uses technically necessary cookies for its operation and—with your consent—cookies from the services listed above. Your consent is managed via the Borlabs Cookie consent tool; you can adjust or withdraw your selection at any time. Legal basis: technically necessary cookies—Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR; cookies requiring consent—Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
12. Data Processors & Data Transfer
To provide our services, we use carefully selected service providers (including Webhosting, MEWS, Stripe, chatlyn, Brevo, WonderPush, Weglot, and Google Maps), which process personal data on our behalf or as independent data controllers. We have contracts with these processors in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. Data is not disclosed to unrelated third parties. To the extent that data is processed outside the EU or the EEA, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
13. Social Media Links
Our website contains links to our profiles on Facebook and Instagram. Data is only transferred to the respective provider when you click on these links. The privacy policies of the respective networks apply to the processing of this data.
14. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You may revoke any consent you have given at any time, effective for the future.
